Lockbolt Rivets
Lockbolt rivets consist of a pin (bolt) and a collar. The collar is crimped onto the pin during installation, creating a permanent, high-strength joint. Lockbolts provide greater strength and reliability due to the crimped collar mechanism, making them ideal for high-stress environments. Unlike pop rivets, which rely on mandrel snapping, lockbolts use controlled tension and collar deformation for a more robust joint.
